About

The platform was created as a result of a multi-month investigation of cases that were labeled as “24 disputed cases” in the public.

Citizens and politicians emphasized the importance of these cases, but after the establishment of the Ministry of the Interior working group and the Serbian Progressive Party coming to power, it appeared as the cases were solved. CINS journalists checked whether these claims were true.

Detailed analysis of documentation and interviews with relevant sources reveal how these cases were investigated, what were the problems, but also how they were processed.

The interactive platform informs the public in one place about cases from the very occurrence of the problem to the epilogue. All information on cases, investigative stories, multimedia, and a unique database of documents are available to readers – some of them in English as well.

The project was supported by the Netherlands embassy in Belgrade (MATRA Project).
